Products for Acne Prone Skin

Here are more details about the products that I mentioned in my 'Five Beauty Products for Clearer Skin' video.  I will include the product name, price, place to buy and the benefits below.

1.
Product:  Complete Organic Skin Cream
Price:  $18.99 or $23.99
Where to Buy:  http://eraorganics.com/organic_skin_cream/
Benefit:  The benefit of using this skin cream is that it is 100% organic, so you are helping your skin while you are wearing it.  This skin cream does not leave your face feeling oily, either, so it is a great choice all around.

2.
Product:  Anti-Blemish Foundation Primer
Price:  $28.00
Where to Buy:  http://www.merlenorman.com/WebForms/Product.aspx?323
Benefit:  What I love about this primer is that not only are you helping your foundation to last longer, but you are also preventing breakouts with the salicylic acid that is in this primer.

3.
Product:  CC Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 30
Price:  $28.00
Where to Buy:  http://www.merlenorman.com/WebForms/Product.aspx?322
Benefit:  I feel safe using this CC cream because not only is it protecting my skin with the spf 30, but it is a gentle formula that does not make my skin breakout.  It provides a light layer of color, but is also buildable.

4.

No Makeup Challenge: Day 1

Hello everyone ! I am embarking on a new challenge in the new year:  to wear a little less makeup.  While I love wearing makeup just as much as the next girl, it is important to remember that the skin is not necessarily meant to be covered up.  This is especially true for the face, as oil and dirt can clog our pores and eventually lead to massive breakouts.  This challenge will last as long as I can make it last--I am aiming for a few weeks.  It has been years since I have gone that long without wearing foundation, so I am very interested to see how my skin reacts.  Other makeup items, however, such as mascara and lipstick are not off limits, as these items typically do not break my skin out.

In addition to not wearing any foundation, I am implementing a few new products into my routine.  For moisturizer, I am now using the Aveeno Active Naturals Daily Moisturizing Lotion

Here is a picture of what my skin looks like right now:

As I come up with various changed in my skin routine I will keep you all posted ! xoxo
